- Played on the ATP Tour for 8 years achieving a career high 57 in singles and 48 in doubles
- Participated in Wimbledon, The French Open, The Australian Open, and The US Open from 1985-1991
- Played Davis Cup for Puerto Rico and was a practice partner for the US Davis Cup team
Gold and Silver Medal Winner in the Pan American Games
- Spent 3 years as a USTA National Coach, working with players such as Andy Roddick, Mardy Fish, Taylor Dent, Robby Ginepri, and Alex Bogomolov
- Captain of the Sunshine Cup team
- College coach for 11 years at Florida State University, the University of Alabama, and Texas Christian University Coached 5 All-Americans, won 2 conference titles, and had 1 “ Sweet Sixteen” and 1 “Final Four” finish
- Voted Sportsman of the Year by Tennis Magazine in 1987
- USPTA, USPTR, and USTA High Performance and Sports Certified
- Voted USPTR College Coach of the Year
- Joined the teaching staff at TBARM Racquet Club in 2006
