The College Experience
Rule

To succeed in college tennis, you’ll need to balance your life on the court with your college experience off the court.

  • Team practices: Here, along with your teammates, you’ll continue to build and refine your individual skills and learn to work together as a unit for a common goal.
  • Team camaraderie: There’s nothing like the networking with other players from around the country or the world, and on team road trips to great locations you’ll be seeing for the very first time
Bonding with your coaches: In addition to technical advice, the right coach will provide guidance, share insights, give life lessons, and be a role model.
  • Team matches: Competing for yourself and your school will provide you with challenging conference play, classic rivalries, and high-visibility regional and national tournaments.

  • A great academic environment: It’s crucial to find a great fit for your academic needs. In addition to matching up your academic interests with the right college offerings, you want to enjoy living on a beautiful campus in a college-friendly town.
  • Healthy social life: Off the court, you’ll have an array of opportunities to join fraternities or sororities, become involved in the community, get to know local families, and make business contacts for the future.
  • A sense of freedom and independence: For most of you, college represents the beginning stages of life on your own. Besides your academic growth, it’s where you’ll develop character-building self-discipline and motivation skills.
